Peaceful camping but with all amenities close by – it’s a great mix that Suzie, Howard and the family have got going on at Little Haven Farm. This chilled-out East Yorkshire spot has all the vibes of a remote rural site while actually being on the edge of the historic market town of Hedon and within walking distance of all its shops and amenities.
Pitches here can certainly be described as quiet, but not entirely silent – and that’s because you may hear the sounds of the farm’s animals, including the cockerels who like to announce the arrival of morning. Pigs, goats and ducks all live here, along with a couple of rather special residents: Sven and Klaus the reindeer. There’s a flock of free-range chickens, so breakfasts of fresh eggs should be on the cards too.
The site is primarily a farm and rescue centre but it's also got a dog agility area, so if you’re bringing a dog along you may like to see what new skills they can master (there’s plenty of space for a run about if they’re not the slaloming type).
Little Haven Farm has mains water, toilet, a shower and 16 Amp Electric Hook-ups are now available for a limited number of pitches. Off-ground barbecues are allowed but no firepits, thanks. The nearest pub is a mere two minutes’ walk away; venture a few minutes more for a play park and skate park or to get to the shops, takeaways, restaurants and pubs of the town centre.
Bookings can be made through our page on pitchup.com or via our email address info@littlehaven.farm
